Abstract : The study subject have taken the other world dream texts in the biography, I mean which had taken from the other world a space to take place so that make the person of the biography become after his death the subject of the dream so the alive people see him in their dreams and speak with him. here two different worlds in their cosmic practicing and rules meet: the hidden world and observed world, which is an indication to what is known in old times as (literature of visions). so the study attempt to reveal deep dimensions of the otherworldly dream text in the discourse of the biography, which is one of history forms, that considered as a formal and mindful rationalism sector. Thereupon the study dealt with the sort of those dreams and its functions, with revealing the correlation between tow discourses: the biographical discourse and dreams discourse. That reshaped the concept of biography for the recipient to become a form that historical data template together in it, and dialogue with the otherworldly dream, which provided a scene open to a dialogue between the living and the dead through the technique of question and answer, so the text of the dream appeared as an epistemic tactic of worldly space. the text of dream inside the biography become a narrative structure that had many functions, it expressed the radical existential anxiety inside every person, on the other hand it answered most questions that had preoccupy the communities that produced those texts of dreams. Questions which had existential, intellectual, and cultural dimensions, all that passes trough the mind of historiographer Al-Safadi, who mentioned those dreams close upon his intellectual and cultural believing thorough selecting, prioritizing, negation, degrading and elevating, with other writing strategies that are not raveled but implicated in the biographical discourse, so the dream become a text which revealed and emphasized what the historiographer had implied in his history.
