The course contains some vital statistics that shed light on health and nutritional problems of children. Identification of such problems helps the teacher to face and deal with these problems and take care of preschooler’s nutrition and health.

The course includes training students and developing their skills in using the most important scientific research methods in the field of childhood. Students will use observation method which helps them to identify the problem and choose the best scientific method to solve it and find possible solutions.

The course identifies thinking phases, processes, and its seven patterns. It highlights the importance of enhancing children's thinking's skills through teaching at preschool age. Students will be exposed to diverse thinking models

يتضمن المقرر التعريف بالاختلافات بين الجنسين من الناحية النفسية والاجتماعية. كما يتناول، بالتفصيل، الاختلافات الخلقية والعقلية بين الذكور والإناث. ويعرف الطالبة على كيفية التعامل مع كل جنس بحسب طبيعته وكيفية تقديم المعلومات لكل من الجنسين لتحقيق أكبر فائدة للتعلم.
The course discusses the concept of diversity and difference including psychological, social, and mental differences between genders and their learning strategies. It also addresses other aspects of diversity in childhood as learning and teaching in unbiased setting regardless all the social, individual, and cultural differences among children.

The course contains studying materials of early childhood and periodicals, books, articles, educational programs and institutions in English, including special education. It aims at enriching students' vocabulary related to childhood education through studying concepts and related subjects. Practice of related vocabulary will be demonstrated through the writing of reports and research.

The course contains information related to the main principles of community health and their relation to the environment. It will discuss major environment health problems and the role of different factors in spreading out these problems and diseases throughout the community. Also the course will introduce methods of preventing these diseases at preschool centers.

The course provides a brief overview of the basics and theories of the kindergarten curriculum for children with special needs. The course provides a critical review of kindergarten programs in terms of standards and indicators that are suitable for the learning environment. Students learn the basis of criticism of the programs and the principles of assessment and modification to suit the needs of children.

The course addresses the natural development of language and communication skills and the problems of language communication among children. The focus of will be on understanding the related social factors; which facilitate and increase effective communication processes and increase language acquisition capabilities.

The course introduces students to the personal and practical skills required by the community service job market in childhood institutions. It trains students to write reports on different community institutions, benefited people, and types and styles if community services.

The course includes the definition of international, regional and local organizations concerned with the rights and laws of children and the provision of services and various forms of care to them, whether equal or otherwise. The course deals with the definition of the organizational, structural and functional structure of these organizations, focusing on the issues and rights of the child and how to raise awareness among the children and to implement them in childhood in addition to the importance of volunteering in the institutions of these organizations within the framework of the concept of community partnership.
