Vice-dean's Letter :​

 

The Vice-Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Home Economics welcomes you to its page and hopes to provide you with the information and answers you seek. We also look forward to receiving your suggestions.
The Vice-Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research consists of two sections :

1- Graduate Studies :
This section provides support for all female graduate students, both from within the university and from other local universities, who have enrolled in the graduate programs offered by the faculty (Family Science, Childhood Studies, Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textile, Islamic Art). We provide information and academic guidance starting from nomination for program enrollment to administrative thesis procedure until thesis defense and graduation. We also offer help with administrative procedures for graduate students from our departments who have been awarded scholarships inside and outside Saudi Arabia.

2- Scientific Research :
This section provides faculty members with support, services, and a chance to exchange ideas and experience on such topics as promotions, scientific contribution, etc. It also facilitates communication with research institutions at KAU and other Saudi universities, as well as international universities; in order to propose cooperation plans to develop scientific research and participate in the development of disciplines related to the departments of the faculty, as well the development of the community and academic faculty.
