Vice Dean's Message : Dr.Sama Fouad Abbaas Khomais

In the name of Allah the most Mercifuland Compassionate,
 And with peace and blessings be upon His Messenger,
 What most distinguishes the Faculty of Home Economics is its direct contact with the aspirations, hopes and concerns of the community. The six Faculty's Departments are profoundly specialized in the sciences of life taking care of family; as the first pillar building a stable community, working side by side with other institutions to improve standards of education, health, productivity and environment.

Our goal as a Faculty of integrated approaches stems from the vision of the Saudi society recognized as an active and productive community on both local and international levels. Our mission focuses on the elevation of the Saudi family and society towards latest technology through a distinct improvement of the Saudi young lady’s abilities and talents,building on the origination of the Islamic identity.

It is well known that these goals cannot be achieved unless they are boosted with tools that are guided by science, culture and sophisticated inherent morals, supported by scientific outstanding research to achieve King Abdulaziz University's major mission, enriching society through cultural prominence, scientific acumen and pioneering research.
