The Production Unit :

Introduction :
The Clothing and Textile Department is seeking to achieve its goals towards the rehabilitation of the female graduates to keep up with the labor market, which requires the external field training whereby the industrial work environment.
From this meaning, the department is submitting the production unit project that following the central laboratories of the business and knowledge system, that have been opened in the first semester of the academic year (1430-1431).
Production unit is not only to achieve economic goals, but its vision extends to contribute the development of human resources through national employment of the female graduates from this section, and others in order to achieve self-sufficiency, and rising the national economy and thus the active participation in achieving the goals of the state.
The initial capital was funded by some members of the department in amount of 3.000 Riyals Saudi.
The second capital was funded by advances from the Faculty of The Home Economics in amount of 10.000 Riyals Saudi.
Through the profits of the unit, it first and the second capital will be paid.
Female employees were selected on a scientific basis and they are in the process of training to use the best scientific methods for the quantitative production, taking into account the quality standards adopted in the garment industry to keep pace with the economic development and the requirements in Saudi Arabia.
