Vice Dean's Message : Dr. Nahla Mahmoud Gahwaji.

Praise to be for Allah, the Almighty, and both peace and blessing to be upon the most venerable and our ideal and beloved, Prophet Muhammad Bin Abdullah.

The Faculty of Home Economics is a building block in an integrated architecture which is King Abdul-Aziz University, the cornerstone of a visionary future for girls in Saudi Arabia to be the basis for a productive society through Home Economics disciplines that qualify a unique personality capable of facing the challenges of the times and keep abreast of developments and the use of modern technology while preserving the authenticity and heritage, and Islamic values.

Our next strategic entitled Total Quality in every sense of the word of the development of the performance of programs, curricula, learning outcomes, through a genuine partnership with Academics and Administrative - in order to achieve excellence in research, program delivery and policy development at the undergraduate and graduate studies.

The fact that all efforts are focused on the center of an important and essential, namely, home economics student, since it is the final product of the educational process on the basis of a comprehensive conceptual framework that promotes the basic concepts, including reflection, and knowledge, critical thinking, cooperative learning, and technology learning, and individual differences, respect for cultural diversity.

At last. I pray Allah, the Almighty, to have all those, concerned with the service of this supreme academic institution and this precious country, blessed, and to have all our students at the Faculty of Home Economics been of success.
